This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Cylis Taylor-Vaughan who was born in California on February 05, 2005 and passed away on August 07, 2006 at the age of 18 months. We will remember him forever. Cylis was a baby of many characters. He had a way of making everyone around him feel as though they were the most important person in his world. Everyone had a special bond with him; a relationship that will never be replaced and will never be forgotten. He holds a special place in everyone's heart that will forever be remembered. 
Cylis we will always love you, never forget you and forever miss you... God speed Cylis, until we meet again, I hope you dance.

The Angels Took My Baby Home
Sometimes in Heaven,
The Angels overflow,
So God sends them to those in need,
Here on this earth below. 

I was blessed to have been sent an Angel,
From the glorious Heavens above,
My life was turned around,
And filled with laughter and love. 

My name Angel's name is Cylis.
His spirit shinned like the sun,
He had a heart of gold,
God picked me the perfect one. 

Cylis lived his life in the fast lane,
Never having time to just slow down,
He was in and out of everything,
Never making a single sound. 

And although his path ended soon,
He touched so many lives,
He had a way of grabbing your heart,
Allowing you to survive. 

But amongst the Angels above,
God noticed he had an empty space.
So he began his search,
For an Angel full of love and grace. 

He searched high and low,
To find the most beautiful one,
Until he came across Baby Cylis,
And God realized his work on earth was done. 

He could see that my baby was in pain,
And deserved to sit upon Heavens throne,
So he sent his most glorious Angels,
To bring his precious child home. 

Although we all loved him dearly,
The Lord will always love him more,
So he eased Baby Cylis's suffering,
And opened Heavens door. 

So Cylis I shall not mourn your death,
Instead I'll celebrate with pride,
That my baby was chosen to be an Angel again,
And I know you will always be by my side. 

I know at times when I get lonely,
I can call out to you,
And you'll make your presence known,
Comforting me like you always do. 

I do not want to see you leave me,
But I know that you will always be near,
To guide me through dark,
And accompany me through my fears. 

God could not have chosen a more beautiful Angel,
To fill his space above,
He knew Cylis's mission had been completed,
For he taught us all to love. 

Baby Cylis you will never really leave me,
For you are my Heart, my Spirit and Soul,
And I never once gave up on you,
I just love you enough to let you go… -Love Mommy

If I could hold you one more time,
I'd kiss your perfect cheek.
